These are the 5 beaches in Ibiza that you must visit this 2021
It is no secret that life in Ibiza is wonderful. And therefore, if you think about visiting the island during the summer (or winter) of 2021, these are the 5 beaches that you definitely should visit, and that both tourists and those of us who live here permanently just cannot stop visiting.
Ibiza is a breath of fresh air, a unique opportunity to disconnect in order to be able to connect. It is a place where you can enjoy different activities that the island has to offer, its outdoor plans, a gastronomic trip or a walk through the most crystalline and beautiful waters of Spain. At Ibidise we like to think that a better future is coming, forgetting a bit about the pandemic. The island is such a special place with its beautiful beaches, what are the ones you can't miss?
1. Cala Conta
Location: Sant Josep De Sa Talaia
Access difficulty: easy
Cala Comte or Cala Conta, this beach is one of the most emblematic ones of the whole island. Loved by both tourists and residents, it has become one of those places you simply have to visit in Ibiza no matter what.
Located in the town of San José, it is divided into two beautiful beaches (Cala Conta and Racó d'en Xic) andjust before arriving, you will also find Cala Escondida, a small nudist beach with its charming chiringuito. Cala Conta also offers fabulous views of an islet called S’Illa D’es Bosc, another of the best ´postcards´ pictures of Ibiza to remember. One of the things we like the most about this cala is that it maintains that turquoise color that makes us fall in love with it throughout the year, which is why Cala Conta is one of the cleanest and most crystalline calas on the island.
Another advantage of this place is that sunsets here are so radiant in the summer. If you have not been justyet, it's time to put this spot on the list!
2. Cala Salada & Cala Saladeta
Location: Sant Antoni de Portmany
Access difficulty: easy & medium
In the second place on our list of the most beautiful beaches of the island comes Cala Salada and Cala Saladeta. Both located in San Antonio (towards Santa Agnes) and surrounded by an environment that is still very untouched, makes it a great spot if you are looking to experience the real Ibiza. Its crystal clear waters and the brilliance of its blue tones will make you fall in love with this place.
Cala Salada is the first one to be seen upon arrival, while Cala Saladeta has a somewhat more complicated access but even so, it is worth getting there, because the truth is that such a small space had never so much to offer to the enjoyment of people.
3. Ses Salines
Location: Sant Jordi
Access difficulty: easy
Despite the fact that the vast majority of beach areas in Ibiza are calas, Ses Salines is one of the most famous and glamorous beaches on the island. It offers crystal clear waters, fine sand and an excellent range of restaurants and beach clubs such as the famous Jockey Club, Sa Trinxa, Beso Beach or Malibú Beach Club, to enjoy a lunch by the sea or a cocktail while you admire the beauty of the place .
A popular spot on the island that does not go out of style. Going to Ses Salines is always a good idea and over the years it has become the meeting point for many famous not only nationals, but also international people.
4. Cala D´en Serra
Location: Portinax
Access difficulty: medium
Named one of the best beaches in the north of Ibiza, Cala D’en Serra is not as known as the emblematic Cala Conta, but it does have an unbeatable charm. If what you like is tranquility and social distancing, Cala D’en Serra is perfect. It is an amazing destination for those who love to dive or snorkel, it is one of the most Mediterranean places you will find on the island of Ibiza. Away from the city and located in a practically unspoilt area, it becomes the perfect destination to spend an ideal day.
Access to the beach is not the easiest, but it is always worth getting there.
Of course, don't forget your booties!
5. És Canaret
Location: Sant Joan De Labritja
Access difficulty: high
Last but not least, our secluded beach located north of Ibiza is a breath of fresh air, even during peak season in Ibiza. A small cala that offers tranquility, a lot of calm and spectacular views full of turquoise waters. Although access is not exactly easy, it is worth going down the mountain to take a dip in the water. You have the possibility to hide in the piers and have a fantastic and peaceful time. Without any doubt, Es Canaret is a place worth visiting, but don´t forget to bring your diving glasses to observe the biodiversity that you will find.
